Indigenous Activist: "Only A Matter Of Time Before We Carry Out Acts Of Terrorism In Australia. Terrorism Is Morally Justified."
The Disturbing Radicalisation Of The Australian Indigenous Movement By Anti-Israel Arab Agitators
In the seedy underworld of anti-Israel activism, a plethora of colourful characters emerges. From retired porn stars who adorn Covid face masks with dog faecal matter, to alleged drug traffickers and ATM Bitcoin scammers, to convicted criminals who have kidnapped and beaten children, the spectrum of shady characters appears boundless. It seems as though anti-Israel activists are engaged in a contest of degeneracy, each striving to outdo the other.
Mohammad Sharab and Laura Allam, are two more colourful characters who recently emerged from this seedy underworld to make headlines in Australia for all the wrong reasons - they were arrested in Melbourne for kidnapping and torturing a fellow member of their local Arab community. Allam (who was accused of stomping on the victim’s head) also has close ties to Australian Feminist Clementine Ford.
What Sharab got up to in the lead up to the kidnapping incident and his subsequent arrest, is disturbing to say the least. Until recently (when he made his account private after his arrest) he was very active on Instagram and avidly documented his activities there.
Trawling through Sharab’s social media activities, it is apparent that Sharab tries hard to portray himself as a cross between William Wallace (from Mel Gibson’s Brave Heart), Che Guevara and Lawrence of Arabia. All of the carefully choreographed images and videos that he posted of himself on his account appear to attempt to portray him as a “brave” and “heroic freedom fighter.” As the choreography, images and music are captivating, Sharab does a convincing job of playing the role of a romantic revolutionary figure who fights to “liberate” his beloved homeland of “Palestine.”
There is only one minor problem with his self-styled image - none of these “heroic” photographs and videos on his social media were taken on the battlefields of his beloved Gaza. All the images and footage is from Melbourne. In one image, one could get the impression that Sharab is confronting IDF tanks and infantry in Gaza. In reality Sharab was in Melbourne’s suburb of Caulfield harassing and intimidating Jewish worshippers outside a local synagogue (that had to be subsequently evacuated).
As a result, Sharab could be best described as a “Lawrence of Suburbia”or a modern day Don Quixote - one who bravely sets out to Caulfield to confront imaginary IDF tanks and infantry and subsequently herald the Arab spring and Intifada revolution to the mundane suburbs of Melbourne.
While one might be tempted to trivialise this character, the reality is that Sharab is far from a laughing matter. From inciting violence and Jihad on the streets of Melbourne to assaulting Jews and a journalist in Melbourne’s CBD, and culminating in his recent arrest for kidnapping and torture, it is abundantly clear that we are dealing with a highly dangerous individual.
The most disturbing video of Sharab, is of him speaking alongside Indigenous Activist Keiran Stewart-Assheton, the President of the Black People’s Union. In this video, both Sharab and Steward-Assheton describe terrorism as “resistance.” They both declare that carrying out terrorism in Australia on behalf Indigenous people is not only morally and ethically justified, but warn that it is only a matter of time before they carry out acts of “resistance”in Australia (watch the short clip below).
The infiltration of pro-Hamas agitators and Islamists into social justice movements across the West has long been evident, and the indigenous movement in Australia is no exception. Nasser Mashni, the President of APAN, exemplifies this trend, as seen in his donning of an Aboriginal Flag lapel pin. Leading an 'Invasion Day' rally, Mashni rallied thousands of Indigenous and Muslim activists on Australia Day, collectively advocating for the downfall of Australia.
However, the latest alarming collaboration between Indigenous and Palestinian activists, openly justifying terrorism and hinting at carrying out potential future acts of “resistance,”stands out as the most ominous development yet and should serve as a clear wake up call to all Australians.
Furthermore, there are videos depicting Sharab interacting with young activists from diverse ethnic backgrounds and religions, including White Australians and Asians. In several of these recordings, he can be seen encouraging these activists to wear terrorist keffiyehs and in actively assisting them in donning the attire. In one short clip (watch below), you can hear him say “C’mon my friends try it (wearing the Kheffiyeh)! Yalla!”
Sharab grew up in Gaza and arrived in Australia later in life as an adult. Why is Sharab, a fit and healthy able-bodied man of fighting age, halfway across the world from his beloved homeland of Gaza? If his passion lies in liberating his homeland and he is prone to violence, why isn't he in Gaza actively fighting the Israeli army alongside his own brothers? Instead, we find him in Australia, assaulting Jewish ratepayers outside of Melbourne town hall, intimidating Jewish worshippers outside suburban synagogues, and collaborating with indigenous activists in videos where he threatens terrorist attacks. These actions beg the question: what is truly driving Sharab's agenda, and what are his intentions in a country so distant from his homeland?
Is Sharab merely a grassroots activist, generously volunteering his time for grassroots causes? Or does he have deeper affiliations? Perhaps he operates on behalf of an organisation, receiving payment to infiltrate various movements, including the Australian indigenous movement, and incite radicalisation? The truth will only be revealed with time.
