Mendel Zirkind appears to resort to lies and dishonesty after being prompted to apologise
Zirkind apparently issues a so called "apology" during a Q&A session to a small crowd in Melbourne after being prompted to apologise by audience members. In doing so, he also appeared to lie
It has come to my attention that Mendel Zirkind apparently issued a belated public “apology” on Sunday March 26 for his "rodef" and "meisit" comments from 2 years ago. The "apology" was made in front of a crowd of 50 people at a Q&A session that was held in someone’s private home.
His belated (so called) “apology” came after he was prompted by someone in the crowd (who had called on him to apologise). In his so called “apology,” Zirkind claimed that he had already previously publicly apologised. In response to that, he was challenged by two people who both correctly pointed out that there is no record of the existence of such a public apology.
In other words, it appears that Zirkind told a bold face lie to a crowd of 50 people and had absolutely no shame in doing so. If he wasn’t telling a bold face lie, then I have the following questions - Where can this public apology be found? Was this public apology done as a written statement? Or was the apology issued via a video?
And why is his rodef video still up on Stump the Rabbi more than 2 years later (why wasn’t it taken down)? Why did he smirk and sarcastically ask “do you know halacha (Jewish law) when I had confronted him about this very same issue the night before (is this how someone with genuine remorse behaves) ? What about his slandering of fellow Chabad Chassidim such as the late Dr Zelenko and Rabbi Michoel Green - will he “apologise” for that as well?
Interestingly, one of the people who challenged him, happened to be a child of Holocaust survivors. Ironically (and quite sadly) this child of Holocaust survivors was coerced into taking the jab by the Yeshivah school administration (who were “just following” (government) orders ) in order to keep their job at the local Chabad school.
Will the Melbourne community wake up in time and smell the coffee (more accurately, the rat) for what he really is?
